Roberts-Thomson is head of Credit Suisse’s APAC Financing Group, which helps fund deals and corporates across all sectors.
The firm also had a handful of senior promotions in its Australian private bank.
Private bankers Joseph Boffa, Fraser Herd and Peter Ronec were elevated to the level of executive director, which is one rank below managing director.
It comes as Credit Suisse told staff of MD promotions globally this week, as part of its once-a-year promotion process.
It follows similar announcements at Citi, which had four bankers promoted to MD earlier this month, and as other investment banks work through their own promotion season.
